Front side windows and windscreen must keep enough light through — roughly 75% light transmission for the windscreen and 70% for front sides in the UK. Rear side and rear windows are usually free of a legal darkness limit (still check your vehicle and local rules). We’ll advise legal options for your car.
How Dark Can I Go? What’s Legal Front Vs Rear?
Quality window film is unlikely to void a vehicle warranty when fitted properly, but always declare modifications to your insurer. Check your policy and manufacturer guidance; we're happy to advise on film type.
Will it void my warranty or insurance?
Yes. We remove failed, bubbled or peeling tint and can re-tint afterwards. Book a removal or removal-and-replace and we'll assess the glass first.
Can you remove old tint / bubbles / peeling?
Most window tints are same-day. You can usually drive away once the job is finished. Leave windows up for the cure window we give you (often about 24–48 hours) before winding them down.
How long does a tint take / when can I drive away?
Yes. Quality film rejects a large share of infrared heat and blocks around 99% of UV, which also helps stop dashboards and seats fading.
Will it make the car cooler?
Cars, coupes, estates, SUVs, vans and pick-ups. Ask about light tints, roof wraps and plates if you want the whole stance finished in one visit.
